About
Prabhat Alloi Foundation (PAF) is a registered NGO working for the upliftment of the local people of Dabar and its adjoining villages.
Founded by the Late Shri Sanjay Kumar Mahato (alumnus of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Purulia

PAF provides the following to its community:​

Essential services to ‘Nabakusthashram’, a leprosy village on the outskirts of Dabar

Hostel in order for poor children to access better quality education and a stable lifestyle

Free primary school to help village children achieve better marks in government schools

Library access for the village and local children

Free medical center run weekly

Cultural preservation through performances, documentation, & instilling pride in local culture

PAF also works tirelessly to improve the livelihoods of people in local villages.

To carry out its work, PAF depends on donations received from various associates and like-minded people, and on proceeds earned by accommodating visitors at their guest house and by staging cultural activities.
