I hope it will be able to showcase some of the culture of West Bengal. Eventually I would like to display an archive of research and documentation done by Robert and Tinku over the years.

PAF has also taken the rich cultural heritage of Purulia from the dusty village roads of Dabar to venues all over the world, particularly in European countries and Australia.

Chhau Dance

Purulia Chhau Dance is an acrobatic and exciting folk dance which follows classic narratives including a theme of battling good versus evil.

Dancers wear elaborate masks depicting Gods, demons, and animals. Traditionally this dance is held at night

These finely-crafted masks are made by the painter artistes of the district.
